Head of Spare Parts Supply

Make Construction Better

As an Entrepreneurial Business Partner and member of the Global Spare Parts Supply Chain Leadership Team, shape the global spare parts supply chain strategy and translate it into measurable regional impact. Lead spare parts supply, material management, warehousing, and end-to-end transport across the Central Hub and assigned regions to improve the end-to-end repair journey through best-in-class spare parts availability. Build a resilient and flexible supply chain, optimize spare parts logistics to enable TSC productivity, and deliver ambitious all-in productivity and net working capital outcomes. Develop an engaged, self-sustaining organization and a sustainable pipeline of diverse operations talent while ensuring a safe and healthy working environment. Accelerate spare parts circularity at scale and advance sustainable transport and warehousing across E1, E2, E3, E4, and META.

What You'll do

  • Global strategy and business ownership: Act as a member of the Global Spare Parts Supply Chain Leadership Team, actively shape the global strategy and roadmap, and translate strategic priorities into measurable regional business impact. Own the spare parts supply and transport agenda for the Central Hub and assigned regions and lead cross-regional initiatives that strengthen the end-to-end repair journey.
  • Best-in-class availability and repair value: Own end-to-end material flows from Hilti AG (HAG/SDC) and Hilti Middle East (RDC Dubai) to the TSC network, ensuring best-in-class spare parts availability while balancing customer service, inventory, net working capital, obsolescence, and total logistics cost.
  • Process and performance governance: Act as Regional Process Owner for spare parts supply, material management, warehousing, and transport. Define policies, decision frameworks, performance routines, and improvement priorities in alignment with global standards, and steer execution and impact through MBR/QBR governance with TSC and SA management.
  • TSC productivity and operational excellence: Own the performance and continuous improvement of planning, purchasing, replenishment, inventory control, warehousing, distribution, returns, and transport processes. Optimize spare parts logistics to improve Tool Service Center productivity and the end-to-end repair journey.
  • Resilient and flexible network: Design and continuously develop a resilient spare parts supply chain with flexible warehousing and transport capabilities. Own route strategy, carrier performance and negotiations, capacity and capability planning, business continuity, and future network requirements for MEA TSCs and partners.
  • Product lifecycle and circularity: Ensure supply readiness for INPs, modifications, phase-outs, and circularity items across RDC and TSC locations based on input from RAMSE/OAE. Coordinate 30–70 product introductions and phase-outs per year, covering 500 to more than 1,500 material items alongside approximately 7,000 daily-consumption materials across 23 TSC locations, and enable spare parts circularity at scale.
  • Financial accountability: Own the relevant OPEX, replenishment freight, and capital budgets; deliver the agreed all-in productivity and global net working capital ambitions; allocate resources according to strategic business priorities; and sustain best-in-class spare parts availability within approved financial targets.
  • Safety, compliance, and resilience: Provide a safe and healthy working environment and ensure compliance with applicable legal, ICS, HSE, quality, and security standards at the RDC. Own the definition, maintenance, and execution of contingency and crisis-management plans.
  • Customer and stakeholder leadership: Translate internal and external customer needs into clear business priorities, own escalations related to spare parts supply and transport, and align AMS, SAH, BU, GLD, GLM, Regional Logistics, Finance, OAS leadership, TSCs, and other relevant stakeholders behind common strategic outcomes.
  • Transformation and sustainability: Sponsor and lead major global and regional initiatives, establish clear outcomes and governance, leverage relevant technologies and data, and deliver sustainable business improvements. Advance the sustainability of transport and warehousing and embed circularity in supply chain decisions.
  • Organization and talent leadership: Build an engaged, self-sustaining, and high-performing organization across materials management, warehousing, and customs. Define required capacity and capabilities, recruit and develop talent in alignment with the OAS Head, strengthen employee engagement, and create a sustainable pipeline of diverse operations talent for AMS and the wider Group through the MOMENT, MyD, and MyC processes.
