What You'll do
In this role, you'll:
- Develop and execute Hilti New Zealand's code and approvals strategy.
- Build relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, industry associations, universities, and key industry influencers.
- Represent Hilti within selected code committees and industry groups.
- Support the development of industry standards and technical specifications.
- Monitor regulatory developments and emerging industry trends.
- Partner with regional and global stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex engineering enquiries.
- Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions to engineering and sales teams.
- Generate market and competitive intelligence to help drive business growth.
- Influence key accounts, committees, and associations to help elevate engineering and construction standards across New Zealand.
What You’ll Bring
- Have a degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Bring strong technical credibility and engineering knowledge.
- Are confident building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Enjoy presenting, facilitating discussions, and communicating complex concepts.
- Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Can think strategically while delivering practical outcomes.
- Have experience working with industry standards, regulations, government agencies, or regulatory bodies.
- Are passionate about developing others and sharing knowledge.
