Support Engineer

Put your engineering expertise into action with Hilti. Work directly with customers to deliver technical testing services.

As a Support Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering Hilti's anchor testing service across a range of customer projects. You'll be responsible for conducting on-site anchor testing, providing technical support, maintaining equipment and documentation, and building strong customer relationships. Working closely with our Sales and Engineering teams, you'll identify opportunities, support project success, and contribute to Hilti's reputation for innovation and exceptional service.

What You'll do

  • Conduct on-site anchor testing in accordance with Hilti's quality and safety standards.
  • Plan and coordinate site visits with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare, review, and issue detailed technical reports and testing documentation.
  • Manage customer quotations, service requests, scheduling, and follow-up activities.
  • Maintain testing equipment, ensuring calibration, accuracy, and readiness for use.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and provide technical support on-site.
  • Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams to create leads.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and activity updates in Salesforce.
  • Support internal engineering projects, marketing initiatives, and special assignments.

What You’ll Bring

  • A degree in Engineering, preferably Civil or Structural Engineering highly preferred
  • Experience in a customer-facing role within construction, engineering, or a related industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as Salesforce will be highly regarded.
