FireStop Account Manager

What's the role?

We are looking for a FireStop Account Manager to join our technical sales team in Ireland. You will work within our specialist team, selling to and developing customers on relevant Hilti products.

Our Specialist division work on major business areas relating to customers involving Government and Firestop, Building Envelope (Façade) and Diamond across Ireland. But this is no ordinary sales job, as ours is a uniquely high-performing and supportive working culture.

Who is Hilti?

Hilti is where innovation is improving productivity, safety and sustainability in the global construction industry, and beyond. Where strong customer relationships are creating solutions that build a better future. Where there is pride and a sense of belonging across our 120 locations, carrying right into our lives and homes. Where people are exploring possibilities, leveraging their potential, owning their personal development and growing lasting careers.

What does the role involve?

Ours is a model of professional consultative selling, and it’s a really hands-on job. It means rolling up your sleeves to demonstrate some of the most pioneering products in the industry, along with all the services and after-care that come with the Hilti name. Far from traditional cold calling, it’s about nurturing relationships and developing contacts on site with warm customers and helping them find the most innovative and cost-efficient solutions for their needs.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to:

  • Go out into the field to see our customers, ask them open questions to understand their needs and provide a tailor-made solution
  • Demonstrate our innovative products and state-of-the-art software to customers on-site
  • Further develop ‘focus’ customers by building relationships, as well as uncovering new business leads
  • Be responsible for the operational, organisational and strategic management of your sales area, fully utilizing the top-in-class CRM system, Salesforce

You’ll be managing your own time – your vehicle is your office and you’ll be responsible for setting your own diary to ensure you’re visiting your customers when they need you so you need to be a self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously. You’ll be part of a supportive, field-based regional team who are only a phone call away but you’ll be working by yourself on the whole, so you need to be comfortable with building relationships remotely and motivating yourself.

93% of our people say they’re proud to work for Hilti, thanks to the quality of our products and the way we look after our people

What do we offer?

We really value our people and we've worked hard to develop a reward package that reflects this. Some of our benefits include:

  • Generous remuneration package including Base Salary, Bonuses and multiple benefits including healthcare, pension etc
  • Genuine career advancement (more than 80% of all leadership roles are filled internally)
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • 26 Days Annual Leave (Not Including Bank Holidays) – ability to purchase an additional 10 days per year
  • Paid leave to work on charitable projects
  • Different ways to work flexibly, including working from home and compressed hours
Our Head Office is based at Finglas, Dublin 11. We offer a hybrid working pattern between the office and home and different ways to work flexibly so please feel free to talk about what flexibility means to you at your interview.

What you need is:

  • Customer facing B2B sales experience.
