Lean Manager Manufacturing 50% (m/f/x)

An opportunity to be part of our Plant Lean Team, use your experience and passion for LEAN to make an impact, develop people and drive ownership of LEAN across the entire supply chain while collaborating with the entire enterprise from Global Logistics, After Market Service, Product Development, Suppliers, Marketing, HR, Finance, Sales and even to our customers!

This part time position is available immediately. No travel is required for this position.

What You'll do

Actively driving forward improvement projects and initiatives within the Plant Manufacturing Team and analyzing various processes regarding the use of LEAN methods and the continuous improvement process.
2. Jointly developing measures with employees and managers to optimize local processes and supporting the implementation of these measures.
3. Drawing up a LEAN roadmap for the local organization and taking over the prioritization, communication and implementation of improvement measures in close coordination with the plant units.
4. Partner with local leadership to ensure embedding lean methodologies and mindset into operational roadmaps.
5. Responsible for the sustainable implementation as well as the follow-up and continuous improvement of the Hilti Lean Core Systems.
6. Responsible for coaching and training operational managers and as well operators and supporting them in the use of LEAN tools and methodologies.
7. Active exchange in the local and global LEAN community with other LEAN experts to contribute to the best practice exchange.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business Administration, or a relevant degree; Master’s degree and Lean/Continuous Improvement certifications are nice to have.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and Lean methods and tools (e.g., 5S, 5 Why, CIP, SFM).
  • Positive, conceptual, and analytical thinker with strong communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize activities and deliver results in a structured and effective manner
  • Integrative and cooperative personality with the ability to inspire others; fluent in German and English.
