What's the role

As Regional Sales Manager at Hilti, you will lead a high-performing national sales team and drive sales growth in the energy and industry segment. This hands-on leadership role offers the chance to work closely with both your team and customers by developing strategies, overseeing relationships, and staying actively engaged in daily sales activities. You will focus on delivering results through insights-driven decisions, ensuring Hilti remains the partner of choice for our customers while executing our Lead 2030 growth strategy.

What does the role involve?

As Regional Sales Manager, you will lead both the strategic direction and the day-to-day operations of the Energy and Industry segment in Denmark. You will work closely with customers, support your team in the field, and act as a key link between global strategies and local execution. 

- Team leadership : Coach and support your sales team of eight by setting clear direction, driving performance, and engaging directly with customers and business opportunities.  
-  Customer engagement:  Join your team on customer visits several days a week, helping open doors to new opportunites and build strong relationships with key accounts. 
- Segment ownership:  Take full ownership of the Energy and Industry segment in Denmark. You will adapt global strategies and define commercial priorities to match local market needs.  
- Market and performance analysis :  Use market data and performance insights to guide decisions, optimize activities, and continuously improve sales results. 
- Cross-functional collaboration : Work closely with marketing, operations and business development to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize commercial impact. 
- Global coordination : Act as the main point of contact for global and regional stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment while tailoring initiatives to the Danish market.

What you need is:

  • A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of leadership experience in sales, with a proven track record of driving results and business growth.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to lead from the field. 
  • Expertise in customer relationship management and delivering tailored, customer-centric solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Danish and English.
