Construction Project Manager - Milano

What's the role?

We are looking for a Construction Project Manager (CPM) who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, high-performing, international working culture.

What does the role involve?

The role aims to maximize the share of wallet of large projects in Italy or the local part of international projects, working together with engineering and sales force.
Main Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead capture team to maximize topline and meeting profitability standards (P&L) on an assigned project portfolio;
  • Responsible for project management with an end to end approach, from acquisition to orders’ execution;
  • Responsible for managing internal and external stakeholders;
  • Responsible for project compliance with local Hilti rules and guidelines. 
Project Management
  • Create a plan, set objectives and must win battles, plan resources and orchestrate project team starting from early stages of the projects;
  • Regular meetings with relevant stakeholder from design stage to execution;
  • Arrange periodic internal meetings (capture team meetings) with the Hilti team ensuring targets achievement;
  • Provide regular updates towards Sales VP on progress on the targeted projects.
Teamwork and development
  • Establish excellent working relationships with all relevant Hilti functions from Project Management Office to Fulfillment, Engineering and Sales;
  • Actively provide input for colleagues, share experiences on main applications (locally or at global/larger scale) and coach others.

What you need is:

  • Degree in Engineering (Civil or Architectural) or Technical Degree
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Sales managerial position and/or Project Management in Construction sites;
  • Able to orchestrate complex commercial deals, meeting sales target and execution deadlines, while preserving quality and profitability;
  • Understand commercial, technical, financial, logistic and legal aspect related to providing complex situation, combing products, services and software;
  • Able to steer teams remotely and to lead without direct reports, coaching and motivating others in a matrix organization and international environment;
  • Fluent in English and Italian;
  • Travel and relocation availability.
