At Hilti Ireland, we’re growing fast—and we’re proud of it! Due to continued investment, we’re looking for an experienced Utilities Regional Account Manager to join our Large projects Team.

As a Utilities Regional Account Manager (RAM) Account Manager, you’ll be the trusted partner to our customers—visiting them on-site / in offices, to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions using Hilti’s innovative tools, software (like ON!Track, Fieldwire, VanGateway), and services.
You’ll manage your own sector with autonomy, building long-term relationships and helping customers work more efficiently and safely. Whether you’re consulting on a construction site or collaborating with a managing director, your focus will be on problem-solving, relationship-building, and delivering value.
The role role is highly consultative, proactive and opportunity focused. This dynamic and exciting role will see you strategically support, grow, and develop Hilti’s largest accounts within the Utilities sector in Ireland.

What You'll do

Hilti thrives on a direct B2B sales model, meaning your impact is immediate and meaningful. You’ll be championing real change in productivity, safety, and sustainability, by showing up and being present.

  • Coordinate the account activity of the defined customers with other account managers to ensure Head Office agreements are delivered at site level using the Salesforce system.
  • Developing existing accounts as well as establishing high level contacts.
  • Providing efficient solutions and technical support on building sites backed by our innovative range of products and services.
  • Understand, and be highly competent to deliver trade specific value proposition.
  • Promotion and demonstration of Hilti products and solutions using a fully equipped, branded vehicle.
  • Coordinate specific project activity of the defined customers with other account managers.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate would have the following:
  • Utilities or services background (Electrical/Engineering)
  • Overhead Linesperson or Overhead Lineworker and networks experience preferable
  • Sub-station or transmission systems knowledge
  • Sales or commercial experience a distinct advantage
  • Tendering and contract documents familiarity
  • Field based equipment and engineering tools knowledge
  • Reliable and successful selling experience (achieving targets) with strong emphasis on end user/commercial sales.
  • Have the track record / ability to build and execute a clear account development plan; detailing how we match Hilti’s added value product, service & software offering to multiple key stakeholders in complex accounts.
  • Practically minded with a technical/mechanical aptitude and willing and able to learn and apply new product or technical knowledge.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship building skills across all levels and functions both internally and externally.
  • Full working rights in Ireland and a full clean driver’s license
