We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated compliance professional to join our Global Compliance team as (senior) compliance officer – competition law.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and continuously improving Hilti's global antitrust and competition law compliance framework. The role serves as a trusted partner to business leaders and functional stakeholders, helping to identify, assess and mitigate competition law risks while enabling sustainable business growth.
You will support the organization in fostering a culture of integrity and ethical business conduct through risk-based compliance programs, training, monitoring activities and investigation support.
Required travel is up to 20% per year.
What You'll do
- Lead and continuously enhance Hilti’s global competition law compliance framework, ensuring alignment with antitrust regulations across jurisdictions through effective policies, standards, controls, and governance processes.
- Act as the primary advisor on competition law matters, providing practical, risk-based guidance to Business, Legal, and Compliance teams across commercial, pricing, marketing, procurement, distribution, and strategic initiatives.
- Support the review of cooperation agreements, joint ventures, and other business arrangements, while advising on interactions with competitors, customers, suppliers, distributors, and trade associations.
- Monitor regulatory developments and enforcement trends, assessing potential business impacts and translating legal requirements into actionable guidance.
- Conduct competition law risk assessments, develop mitigation measures, and implement monitoring activities to strengthen compliance and reduce exposure to antitrust risks.
- Design and deliver training, awareness, and engagement initiatives that promote competition law knowledge and foster a strong culture of integrity and compliance.
- Support investigations, reporting, and governance activities while building strong partnerships across Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and senior leadership.

- Master’s degree in Law, Business Law, Compliance, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Competition Law/Antitrust, ideally within an international in-house environment.
- Proven track record in compliance program management, competition law risk assessments, monitoring activities, and business advisory.
- Additional compliance experienced in anti-corruption, trade compliance or sustainability are an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of European and international competition law, including pricing practices, distribution models, supplier and customer relationships, competitor interactions, trade associations, information exchange risks, and cartel prevention.
- Experience supporting internal investigations, compliance reviews, and remediation initiatives related to antitrust matters.
- Strong business partnering, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical business guidance.
- High level of integrity, sound judgment, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a global, matrix-based organization.
