Making Construction Better
In this role you will be delivering charged Modeling Services on BIM projects and create/modify typical families based on existing Revit content provided by the BIM CC, in collaboration with external BIM Modelers.
What You'll do
- Support the BIM Project Manager and Lead Engineer; with an assessment on the quality and availability of information in the models provided by the customer and with quoting/estimating our modelling services for the project,
- Based on the “Framework” provided by the BIM Project manager and inclusive “Design service” provided by Lead Engineer perform our Modelling Services (Modeling itself & Output creation) based on modeling guideline provided by PMO processes and in collaboration with External BIM Modelers,
- Communicate to the Lead Engineer when specific applications exceed the technical design provided,
- Perform clash detection, resolve clashes within Hilti discipline, if possible, within provided technical design and report further clashes to Lead Engineer,
- Perform QA/QC continuously to deliver BIM Modeling & BIM Output services with high quality by following our workflow and customer requirements,
- Collaborate with other Modelers in case of simultaneous modeling in common environment (e.g. BIM360),
- Follows processes setup by PMO and actively collaborate and give feedback to improve them,
- Contribute to a professional, standardized portfolio of software supporting all modeling use-cases,
- Ensure proper documentation along workflow,
- Professionally record your hours spent on the project and share them with the respective Project Manager and Team Lead on an agreed and regular basis,
- For highly complex cases beyond current competence proactively involve BMO of BIM Competence Center,
- Establish excellent working relationships with PMO and functional counterparts in regions,
- Create open working climate through integration and motivation of others,
- Full compliant BIM modeling according customer needs described in Framework via BIM Project Manager,
- Modeling according general Hilti guidelines and provided Designs via BIM Lead Engineer,
- Ability to plan and prioritize given tasks to meet deadlines.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in structural / civil or mechanical engineering / architectural ( MSc. Is a plus)
- Efficient Turkish & English oral and written communicator (All other languages are a plus)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Revit modeling
- Professional in Revit and Navisworks
- Advanced knowledge in AutoCAD
- Dynamo knowledge is a plus
- Further modelling software knowledge preferred
- Experienced with BIM MEP is a plus
- Know how about plant design software (SmartPlant 3D or PDMS) is nice to have
- Good understanding of overall building applications
- Goal achievement and solution-oriented personality
- Empathy and ability to work in multicultural environment
- High learning agility and willingness to understand also small details if required
- Willingness to find solutions independent, but ready to follow directions in more complicated situations
- Willingness to work without tight boundary conditions on a daily base and to work in a cross functional team
- Understanding the correlation between technical and commercial aspects of engineering work and service offering
- Interest in transfer of know how to others and sharing of competence
