Drive Value Added Services Center operations and lead teams to deliver seamless service and distribution.
The Team Lead will provide warehousing, transportation, inventory control, people supervision, workload planning, proficiency and usage of Hilti system applications for Value Added Service Center (VASC) production operations. The position includes interfacing with PMO, customer service, credit, and other areas at corporate headquarters. Assists in the managing & training of Valued Added Services Center staff to achieve company goals in service and distribution.
What You'll do

- Execute all floor shop management tasks: workload balancing, performance, Best Practice Process management and Production Controlling.
- Run daily floor operations and direct Valued Added Services Center team members to ensure execution of the defined targets.
- Run and supervise all daily business elements in the absence of Valued Added Services Center management.
- Assist Valued Added Services Center management in performing operational functions within the planned annual operations budget.
- Assist in maintaining receiving schedule timelines and accuracy of receipts.
- Interface with other departments of the organization to resolve issues, pursue opportunities and facilitate high levels of customer service and Valued Added Services Center efficiency.
- Place orders from described vendors & execute expense reports following company guidelines.
- Process Returned Materials within established guidelines.
- Assist in the evaluation and implementation of Lean initiatives such as 5S, Kanban and Kaizen events.
- Follow the process for Continuous Inventory management.
- Special Projects and other duties as assigned.
- Other duties as needed or assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Associate degree or bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
- Two (2) years’ experience in a warehouse or production environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse or production management systems, SAP preferred.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
