Technical Engineer

CREATE TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS THAT BUILD TRUST. SUPPORT PROJECTS THAT LEAVE A MARK.

In this role, you will be at the centre of collaboration between customers, designers, design offices, the sales team and internal departments, becoming a key technical partner in the delivery of the most demanding construction projects. With your professional expertise and engineering judgement, you will help understand complex project requirements, advise on the most suitable Hilti solutions and provide support where precision and responsibility are of key importance.

What You'll do

Technical consulting and support
providing advanced technical support to employees, customers, designers and design offices,
preparing expert answers, technical proposals and solutions related to the use of Hilti products,
ensuring high-quality, up-to-date and professional communication of information.

Working with designers and projects
establishing and developing a database of designers and supporting the design of Hilti solutions,
analysing technical documentation and identifying opportunities to include Hilti solutions,
actively participating in important construction projects and, when needed, visiting key customers.

Preparation of offers, analyses and drawings
preparing demanding and complex offers based on technical documentation,
preparing technical drawings and expert project documentation,
carrying out demanding analyses of installation projects,
calculating the potential of individual projects before activities begin,
preparing a timeline for project processing and sales activities,
Involving the necessary resources for the successful handling of projects.

Training and internal development
preparing and delivering training sessions for employees and customers,
delivering refresher training for already launched products,
preparing training for newly introduced products,
supporting the sales team in understanding technical solutions and their practical application.

What You’ll Bring

Level VI education in civil engineering, mechanical engineering or another technical field;
at least 2 years of experience in a comparable position;
experience in technical consulting, project support, engineering or working with technical documentation is an advantage.
Excellent technical understanding of technical drawings, project documentation and civil or mechanical installations,
ability to prepare expert solutions, offers and technical project documentation,
strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to set priorities,
ability to identify the needs of customers and designers and find appropriate solutions,
active knowledge of English,
excellent knowledge of computer programs,
valid category B driving licence.
