Regional Talent Manager

What's the Role?

As a Regional Talent Manager you'll have regional responsibility to define and execute the regional talent management strategy in line with the global strategy and business needs. You'll define the roadmap, timeline and resources to drive talent management within the Regional HRBPs and Regional HR network.
Influence, educate, develop and support markets to drive business performance through talent management topics.

What does the role involve?

Influencing, educating, developing and supporting markets to drive business performance through talent management topics by:

  • Coordinating the regional HR network to ensure the TM principles, frameworks and processes that are established at a global level are cascaded to the regional and local level. 
  • Coordinating, supporting (preparation and execution) and partnering with HR and business in HPR (Hilti People Review) executions on different entities at different levels. 
  • Coordinating people move and key vacancies on lev 3 and above through HPRs, pools and succession plans.
  • Managing Regional Succession Pools based on inputs from HPR in all the entities. 
  • Supporting the region in the shift in the people approach, finalizing concepts together with HR Head and Global TM and connecting all dots.
  • Acting as regional counterpart in the global TM community 
  • Coordinating pools in Workday (management). 
  • Coordinating and managing key Talent Management projects. 
  • Being a key contact point for IMPACT (employee development program) and OPP Participants (Outperformer - graduate leadership program). 
  • Being responsible for Talent Management in Workday and for OPP (program, trainees and alumni community

What you need is:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in cpmplex HR roles, preferably with connection to Talent Management
  • Strategic thinking and ability to zoom in out 
  • Strong communication skills across all levels 
  • Strong organisational skills 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels, ability to influence and to deliver impact at all levels 
  • Leadership skills 
  • Strong coaching skills 
  • Strong people assessment skills 
  • Strong team player 
  • High learning agility, ability to adapts and works effectively with a variety of situations, individuals or groups. 
  • Ability to understand and appreciate different and opposing perspectives on an issue, to adapt an approach as the requirements of a situation change, and to change or easily accept changes in one’s own organisation or job requirements.
  • Understanding and appreciate cultural and local differences across the globe.
