1-Year Fellowship at Hilti Group HQ for US-based Graduates

What's the role?

Begin your international career with a 12-month paid fellowship at Hilti’s international headquarters in Schaan, Liechtenstein where you'll contribute to meaningful projects as a fully integrated member of an international team.

The program begins in summer 2026 with German language training and a cultural exchange in Cologne, Germany. Following Cologne, you will initiate your 12-month fellowship in Liechtenstein.

To ensure a strength-based fellowship, we will match your placement in the organization to your career interests and academic background. Furthermore, you will be assigned to a career mentor who will support you in your professional development within Hilti.

This unique fellowship offers you an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, grow professionally, and build a global network within a dynamic and innovative organization.

· Start of language and cultural exchange program: July or August 2026.

· Start of employment: September 1st, 2026 - August 31st, 2027

What You'll do

The Martin Hilti Foundation Fellowship Program is designed for early-career professionals looking to gain international experience early in their careers. As a Fellow, you will be matched with a department that aligns with your strengths and career interests, allowing you to contribute meaningfully from day one. This immersive program combines professional development, cultural exchange, and mentorship to help you grow both personally and professionally in a global corporate environment.

The Fellowship also involves:

  • 1–2 months of language training in Cologne, Germany (duration depends on the participant’s initial fluency level), designed to enhance your German language skills and deepen your understanding of the country’s culture.
  • 12-month paid fellowship in Schaan, Liechtenstein, offering valuable international work experience in a professional environment.
  • A dedicated mentor will be matched to you through our mentorship program; your mentor will support your professional development and help guide your career goals.
  • Monthly compensation includes standard health insurance coverage, which is deducted from your monthly stipend.
  • Housing in Schaan is provided, but rent is covered by the Fellow.
  • Hilti covers your flight to Cologne and onward travel to Schaan, as well as all visa arrangements. Room and board will be covered in Cologne and Fellows will receive a monthly stipend to help with living costs.
While a full-time position in the Fellow’s home country following the program cannot be guaranteed, it is one of Hilti’s goals to support Fellows in finding a suitable opportunity within the company. If both the Fellow and Hilti express mutual interest, reasonable efforts will be made to explore potential matches.
