We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst / SAP SD Consultant to join our global Billing & Taxation team. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT, driving the analysis, design, implementation, and support of solutions within the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) landscape, with a strong focus on Billing, Taxation, Output Management, and SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (SAP DRC).
You will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable and compliant SAP solutions, providing expert consulting, hands-on customization, and ongoing operational support. Working within a modern application landscape based on SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA Cloud, you will help ensure the successful delivery of global initiatives while maintaining compliance with local legal, tax, and e-invoicing regulations across Hilti subsidiaries worldwide.
As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate closely with business partners, architects, developers, and external vendors to design and implement end-to-end digital solutions. You will also play a key role in managing incidents and service requests, driving continuous improvements, and establishing operational excellence within your area of responsibility.

What You'll do
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and implement business requirements in the areas of SAP SD Billing, Taxation, Output Management, and SAP DRC.
- Provide daily operational support, including incident resolution, service requests, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing functional expertise and solution guidance.
- Perform hands-on SAP configuration and customization, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- Support global e-invoicing, e-reporting, and compliance processes through SAP DRC.
- Support end-to-end solution delivery from requirements gathering through testing, deployment, and hyper care support.
What You’ll Bring
- At least bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or other relevant education.
- At least 2+ years of experience as an SAP Consultant or IT Business Analyst in SAP ERP 6.0 environment / S/4HANA Experience with solid knowledge in SAP Sales and Distribution. Basic understanding of ABAP is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Billing, Output Management, Pricing, and Tax-related processes.
- Experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (SAP DRC), e-invoicing, e-reporting, or other regulatory compliance solutions.
- Hands-on SAP customizing and solution design experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Experience supporting global business processes in Sales & Distribution especially integration with Finance and collaborating with international stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with motivation to drive for success and high level of commitment.
- Willingness to learn and develop yourself and your colleagues
- Excellent communication skills, high commitment, self-responsibility, and customer orientation.
- Experience in working in an international/virtual/geographically dispersed team.
