IT Business Analyst — Salesforce (Software CRM)

As an IT Business Analyst, you'll be the vital bridge between business needs and technology solutions, turning business ideas and challenges into meaningful, user centric outcomes. You'll build a strong understanding of both business processes and IT systems, allowing you to confidently analyze requirements and translate them into practical, sustainable solutions that deliver real value.
In this role, you'll be part of the Salesforce Software CRM Team within the Marketing & Sales IT team in Hilti Global IT. The Software CRM team is responsible for managing the end to end CRM processes that support software sales development, lead management, opportunity handling, renewals, and account management across global markets. You'll contribute to initiatives that drive software subscription growth, streamline sales operations, and enable Sales Development Managers (SDMs) and marketing operations teams to effectively manage the software sales pipeline worldwide.

What You'll do

  • Work closely with diverse, international, cross functional teams in an end to end setup, collaborating with Salesforce Platform and Integration, understanding needs and shaping requirements to designing, building, and testing solutions.
  • Go beyond support work by owning specific topics within the Software CRM domain, driving improvements and contributing ideas that shape how products and processes evolve.
  • Be part of a Business Analyst cohort, learning alongside peers and supported by experienced analysts who will guide your development.
  • Gain hands on experience in an Agile (Scrum) environment, collaborating with Product Owners, Developers, Quality Assurance, Solution Architects, and Solution Managers.
  • Build practical skills in user story writing, backlog refinement, prioritization, Salesforce configuration, solution design documentation, and iterative delivery, creating a strong foundation for a future career in IT and digital transformation.

  • Bachelor's / Master's studies in Information Technology / Software Engineering / Data Science / Computer Engineering, or related fields
  • More than 3 years relevant work experience as Salesforce Technical Consultant
  • IT background with experience in Salesforce CRM, exposure to SAP ERP, sales processes, software subscription business models is a plus
  • You have strong communication skills and interpersonal skills and you are fluent in written and spoken English
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player approach with the ability to connect with global partners to bond, inspire, influence and accomplish goals
