Head of P2P Hub & Transformation

Global Vision. Financial Leadership That Delivers

The Head of P2P Hub is accountable for the end-to-end operational leadership, performance, and continuous development of Hilti’s Global Purchase-to-Pay Hub in Kuala Lumpur. The role ensures stable, compliant, and scalable P2P operations across all integrated entities while leading the organization through ramp-up, transition completion, and steady-state excellence.

The role combines operational excellence, people leadership, and change execution, with a clear mandate to deliver global standards at scale, embed strong governance and controls, and continuously improve efficiency, quality, and employee experience in line with the P2P Target Operating Model (TOM).

What You'll do

1. Global P2P Operations & Service Delivery

  • Own end-to-end delivery of P2P services from the Kuala Lumpur Hub (Vendor Master Data, Invoice Processing, Travel & Expense).
  • Ensure reliable, compliant, and predictable operations across all in-scope entities.
  • Accountable for SLA adherence, backlog stability, service quality, and operational continuity.
  • Establish and run Shopfloor Management (SFM) and Operational Health Report (OHR) routines.
  • Act as the primary escalation authority for hub-level issues and cross-entity operational risks.

2. Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Own the P2P performance framework (KPIs, SLAs, OHR) and ensure disciplined performance steering.
  • Drive measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and touchless processing rates.
  • Sponsor and prioritize Continuous Improvement (CIP) initiatives across P2P towers.
  • Promote automation-first thinking and leverage digital enablers (SAP S/4, Serrala, Concur, Power Platform).

3. Governance, Controls & Compliance
  • Ensure consistent execution of global P2P standards, policies, and SOPs as defined by GPO/GPM.
  • Own operational execution of ICS L1 and L2 controls within the Hub.
  • Ensure audit readiness and lead remediation of findings.
  • Operate within defined decision rights and governance frameworks, including CAB and escalation models.

4. Transition & Integration Execution
  • Lead the P2P Hub workstream within the FA 2030 / Shared Services initiative.
  • Ensure high-quality execution of entity integrations (KT, SOP sign-off, Go-Live, Stabilization).
  • Balance operational stability with ongoing transitions.
  • Build readiness for further scope expansion (e.g. Intercompany and Payments).

5. People Leadership & Organization Development
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global P2P organization.
  • Define and evolve the hub organization structure and leadership layers.
  • Establish leadership routines (townhalls, TL roundtables, talent reviews).
  • Own hiring, onboarding, development, succession planning, and retention.
  • Drive engagement and talent development in line with GEOS, MyC, MyD, and HPR.

6. Stakeholder Management & Business Partnering
  • Act as senior operational interface for entities, RCFOs, SSC Heads, and Global Finance.
  • Build trust through transparency and proactive communication.
  • Collaborate closely with GPOs, IT, Procurement, Tax, and Audit.

  • Ability to lead large, multi-layered teams in a Shared Services / GBS environment.
  • Strong end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay process and control mindset.
  • Confidence in steering performance through KPIs and SLAs.
  • Ability to lead through change, ambiguity, and transition phases.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across cultures and seniority levels.

Profile / Qualifications
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in Finance, Shared Services, or Global Business Services.
  • Proven leadership of large operational organizations.
  • Strong understanding of global P2P processes and compliance.
  • SAP S/4HANA required; Concur, Serrala, analytics, and automation tools advantageous.
  • Experience leading transitions or operating model changes.
