Regional Process Expert (Contract)

What's the role?

Regional Process Expert entails providing support and ensuring smooth global operations while effectively overseeing and improving matters associated with PTP,OTC and GL functions.

In this newly established Shared Service Center (SSC), we provide all the Accounting related services to Hilti organizations located in the Asian Pacific Region. We strive at providing standardized, high quality and value-adding services to the entities we service.

What does the role involve?

Leadership & Performance management
• Be the connector between global, region and entities ensuring adherence to global standards while keeping local requirements in mind
• Analyze and steer accounting processes related KPIs and derive improvements for the accounting processes
• Act as business partner with the Finance teams (Heads of Finance/SSCs/Accounting teams of entities in scope) to establish best in class accounting processes in the Shared Service Center and entities in scope

People development
• Train and support Shared Service Center employees, MO Accounting employees and Finance leaders to drive operational excellence & compliance

Project / Process management
• Lead Finance Accounting (PtP, OtC, GL) projects & tool implementations for the Shared Service Center/Region and entities in scope
• Coordinate and test ERP system and tool related changes and upgrades
• Identify and implement E2E process improvements using continuous improvement (CIP) tools and best suited technologies
• Be a sparring partner for SSC employees/MO Accounting employees by linking business decisions to accounting processes and by supporting in improving agreed services to the entities in scope

Entrepreneurship
• Consistently challenge the status quo, act as change agent in the Shared Service Center/Region
• Recognize and exploit process related opportunities within the Shared Service Center/Region
• Proactively monitor external environment and translate relevant trends into Shared Service Center organization/Region to ensure agility and value creation

Compliance & Risk
• Support ICS related process improvements in the Shared Service Center/Region
• Manage SAP S/4 authorization concept for Accounting in the SSC/Region

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in business, Finance, IT or similar or equivalent finance qualification
  • At least 5 years of experience in a project management / operational excellence role within in a multinational Shared Service Center / organization
  • Evidence of acting as business partner through influencing finance & non-finance stakeholders and success fully communicate with them
  • Effective communication skills, including ability to structure presentations and present to the Finance Leadership team.
  • Proficient English written & verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4
