Tool Fleet Management Generalist

Driving fleet excellence through seamless service, customer partnership, and operational precision.

The Tool Fleet Management Generalist plays a crucial role in delivering Hilti’s Tool Fleet Management (TFM) services to customers and supporting our Lead 2030 Full Fleet strategy. This position involves supporting internal team members and customers through phone and electronic communication, approving contractual documents, and engaging directly with customers to provide comprehensive TFM services.

What You'll do

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the TFM service, value proposition and services, and coach other internal team members
  • Based on direct email and phone requests from customers and Hilti team members, handle the research, processing, and follow-up of activities related to Fleet Management after sales support to include setting up customer Auto pricing and monitoring for proper approvals.
  • Contract setup and administration.
  • Return order processing.
  • Ownership changes.
  • Lost or stolen tool processing and invoicing.
  • Contract pricing corrections to ensure correct customer pricing data.
  • Contracts opt-out processing and admin of legal documents.
  • Customized invoicing set-up for customer invoicing requirements.
  • Processing of Tool Exchanges when customer renews or collects.
  • SAP tool collection.
  • Responsible for sharing best practices and identifying opportunities for continuous improvements for fleet operations.
  • Review and approve TFM contracts.
  • Manage Large Solution Orders (50+ tool bodies) from setting delivery expectations to the order being delivered in all steps in between.
  • Utilize Fieldwire to communicate Large Solution Orders to all stakeholders.
  • Handle Life Cycle Management tasks in Salesforce.
  • Support team members in TFM processes and execution.
  • Create custom solutions for specific customer’s needs.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned.

What You’ll Bring

  • High School/GED minimum required; bachelor’s degree in business discipline, preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a sales or customer service role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Proficiency in SAP, preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated high level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated learning agility.
