Global Process Manager – Materials Management (m/f/x)

​​The Global Process Manager (GPM) is responsible for defining, governing, and continuously improving global end-to-end business processes across Hilti. The role ensures that processes are standardized, efficient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. The GPM acts as the bridge between business strategy, operational execution, and digital solutions to enable a consistent and high-performing global process landscape.

What You'll do

As a Global Process Manager, you will own and develop end-to-end business processes, ensuring they remain effective, harmonized, and aligned with Hilti's strategic priorities. You will collaborate with global stakeholders, regional organizations, and IT teams to identify improvement opportunities, define future-state processes, and implement sustainable solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and maintaining global process standards, governance, and best practices.
  • Leading process improvement and transformation initiatives across functions and regions.
  • Monitoring process performance through KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
  • Translating business requirements into process and system enhancements.
  • Partnering with IT and business experts to implement digital solutions and process innovations.
  • Supporting change management activities and ensuring successful adoption of new processes and ways of working.

To succeed in this role, you bring a degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, combined with experience in process management, business transformation, project management, or a relevant functional area. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and effective communication are essential. Experience with SAP, process mining, workflow management tools, or similar technologies is considered an asset. You enjoy working in a global environment, influencing across organizational boundaries, and driving meaningful change through collaboration and process excellence.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in process management, business transformation, or a relevant business function; experience working in a global environment.
  • Strong process design and continuous improvement capabilities; proven ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
  • Experience with SAP and process management tools; familiarity with process mining and workflow technologies is an advantage.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; strong analytical thinking and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
