Technical Marketing Manager

CREATE TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS THAT BUILD TRUST. SUPPORT PROJECTS THAT LEAVE A MARK.

The Engineering Marketing Manager drives and steer local INPs and technical Initiatives as well as support local Engineering teams. They will handle operational SW/service tasks and monitor market results per specifiable applications. The EMM shall also monitor local regulatory changes, competition moves (Technical solutions), and market trends, as well as understand local specifiers needs for engineering applications.

What You'll do

Organized and delivered internal technical training programs and published quarterly technical newsletters to enhance the technical capabilities of sales and engineering teams.
Analyzed product differentiation between Hilti solutions and competing products, providing technical insights to support business development and market positioning.
Identified application requirements and customer pain points across various industries, developing and continuously optimizing technical specification documents tailored to different market segments.
Provided daily technical consultation and support to internal and external stakeholders.
Planned and coordinated engineering department meetings, facilitating cross-functional communication and knowledge sharing.
Delivered technical support to both Sales and Engineering teams for strategically important projects, contributing to project success and customer satisfaction.
Collaborated closely with the Marketing team to strengthen product differentiation and promote locally relevant technical topics and value propositions.
Worked with the Codes & Approvals team to participate in discussions on key industry standards and regulations, providing technical recommendations and improvement proposals.
Coordinated with the Asia-Pacific Technical Marketing team to drive the localization and promotion of strategic technical marketing initiatives in the China market.

What You’ll Bring

  • Master’s degree or above in Civil Engineering is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical management role within a multinational building materials company or construction-related enterprise, and at least 5 years of professional experience in the construction engineering industry.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other common business software applications
