What's the Role?

The purpose of the role is to lead and develop the Project Management Office (PMO) being a part of Large Project Organization and drive its capability to execute projects on Market Organization (MO)/sub-region level.

What does the role involve?

The core responsibilities:

  • Develop short and long term PMO strategy including resource and infrastructure investment requirements
  • Support Market Organizations (MO) /sub-region sales & business development field teams in the acquisition phase of projects through providing engineering service
  • Professionally execute defined Integrated Project Solution (IPS) projects in collaboration with other units (such as sales or other departments of MO, Corporate PMO team, Business Units (BU’s), Global and Regional logistics organization, and other competence centers)
  • Develop the PMO organization and its team members to obtain a high competency in the relevant areas

What you need is


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil engineering.
  • 6 – 10 years of experience in engineering design, with 3 – 5 in engineering management
  • Broad technical knowledge across multiple domains with focus on Structural engineering
  • Proficient in managing multiple complex projects
  • Experience in performance management, team development and succession planning
  • Strong communicator with cross-functional and external stakeholders
  • Experience implementing and optimizing engineering workflow
  • Understand Building Information Management (BIM) topic
  • Full domain on MS software (Excel, MS Project, Word, Power Point). Basics Autodesk software skills (AutoCAD, Revit is a plus). General Plant Design and BIM knowhow (SP3D, E3D and Revit).
  • Fluent in English, all other languages are a plus
