HR & Payroll Analyst

What's the role?

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Analyst to join our team. The HR & Payroll Analyst will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of payroll procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

What does the role involve?

Payroll & Tax Administration

  • Manage full payroll processing and ensure compliance with laws and internal policies.
  • Keep accurate payroll records (e.g. bonuses, salary changes, deductions).
  • Work with Finance and tax authorities for payments and reports.
  • Prepare and distribute year-end tax documents.
Benefits Administration
  • Handle employee benefits (medical, insurance, pension) including enrollment, changes, and cancellations.
  • Communicate with benefit providers and resolve employee issues.
  • Ensure benefit data is updated accurately in HR and payroll systems.
Offboarding & Final Settlement
  • Manage offboarding steps including final pay, tax clearance, and benefit termination.
  • Coordinate with other teams and agencies to ensure a smooth exit process.
  • Guide exiting employees on final payments and paperwork.
HR Operations Support
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems.
  • Support onboarding, contract changes, and lifecycle updates.
  • Create regular and ad-hoc HR reports and dashboards.
Employee Support & Communication
  • Answer employee questions on payroll, taxes, and benefits.
  • Provide clear explanations of payslips, tax filings, and deductions.
  • Create employee guides, FAQs, and communication materials.
Audit & Compliance
  • Prepare documents for payroll, benefits, and HR audits.
  • Help address audit findings and make necessary improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax rules, and data privacy.
  • Stay updated on policy changes and help update processes accordingly

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 1-5 years of experience in payroll, HR operations, or shared services environments. 
  • Open to fresh graduates who have strong interest in Payroll.
  • Solid understanding/strong interest in employment laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • High attention to detail, data accuracy, and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, especially in explaining technical topics to employees.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
