Intern or thesis student - Tactical Procurement Manager "Operational" (m/f/x)

What's the role?

At our largest Business Unit “Power Tools & Accessories”, you will lead a workstream of one of our key strategic supply projects globally. In this role, you will be working alongside experience strategic supply managers. As such, you will also have substantial visibility to senior management team and the opportunity to positions yourself for a full-time career at Hilti.

Your key responsibilities will be to perform industry and competitor analysis, to facilitate make or buy decisions and finally define strategic actions resulting from a comprehensive fact base.

What does the role involve?

As an intern in our department, you will be part of a diverse team that executes strategic sourcing programs with direct link to the Business Unit strategy. You will work closely with our experts to develop a selected workstream of at least one of our projects. In this role, you will have exposure to the senior vice president who leads the area.

Your key responsibilities will be to perform industry and competitor analysis, to facilitate make or buy decisions and finally define strategic actions resulting from a comprehensive fact base.

What you need is:

  • Master student in Engineering, Logistics/Supply Chain, Business Administration or similar
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a sense for pragmatic solutions
  • A strategic approach and good problem-soling skills
  • Excel and Power Point knowledge, other tools are a plus
  • Relevant work experience will be considered a plus
