What does the role involve?

You will kickstart your career as an account Manager to get to know our clients and their needs. This will serve as your “onboarding” in which you’ll be partnering with our customers to understand their businesses while developing loyal, win-win relationships. Following your successful performance in this role, you will move to a management role.

You will lead a team of 7-10 Account Managers. While you will contribute to the growth and success of your own team, the role also involves working with other management teams to capitalize on business potential across territories and taking an active role in handling key accounts.

The next stage of your development will depend on your interests and area of expertise. You will take charge of a project in a new office in one of our international locations; the department and country are up to you! We want your motivation to learn and your enthusiasm to make an impact while developing your skills and contribute to the success of the team.

You will also benefit from dedicated mentoring from senior directors within the organization and a bespoke career plan to allow you to reach your full potential in the organization, whether that is in France or internationally.

What you need is:

  • MBA
  • Degree in Engineering
  • No prior sales experience is required
  • Clear leadership experience plus proven ability to influence at board/senior management level
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a strategic mind-set
  • Ambitious with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • International mobility
  • Fluency in French and an additional language preferred

Who should apply?

We have an excellent mix of people and some of our best account managers joined us with no experience of the construction industry. So, if you’ve never worked in sales or construction, that’s fine with us. Success at Hilti is down to teamwork and ability, no matter what your background.
