What's the role?
Are you ready to dive into the dynamic world of supply chain and operational excellence? At Hilti, we offer unique internship opportunities where you can explore various aspects of our supply chain and procurement processes. As an intern, you will be part of a specialized team at our Plant in Schaan, where you will engage in a variety of projects that span across different domains such as Lean Management, Procurement, Logistics, and Digital Products. This role will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how a multinational company operates and optimizes its supply chain. The main objective of this internship is to bring operational excellence in the production supply chain to the next level. You will run projects related to supply planning, value-stream optimization, and data analytics to increase speed and agility within our Plant in Schaan. As a results-oriented, innovative, and self-reliant person, you will join our motivated team, which will support you in realizing your full potential. Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for at least 6 months.

What does the role involve?

If you’re interested in streamlining processes and using lean methods to reduce waste and increase productivity, an internship in Lean Management could be a great fit for you. You’ll have the opportunity to conduct time and motion studies, use tools like Value Stream Mapping, implement 5S methodology, participate in Kaizen events, and analyze data to find root causes of inefficiencies.
If you enjoy analyzing suppliers, developing procurement strategies, and managing sourcing through contract negotiations, a role in Procurement is ideal. You'll conduct spend analysis, source suppliers, monitor performance, and collaborate across plants to shape the global procurement strategy. Operational and tactical tasks will round out your skills for a global career in procurement.
If planning and improving logistics processes, supporting in the management of inventory levels, and ensuring timely deliveries sound appealing, consider an internship in Logistics . You will support in specific daily tasks such as KPI reporting, follow-up with suppliers and participate in projects to enhance logistics processes and implement standards in the plant.
Students who are keen on developing digital solutions , working on projects, and supporting business process digitalization should explore opportunities in Digital Products. You’ll develop standard processes for operations, collaborate with IT to implement new software solutions, analyze user requirements, and test digital solutions.

What you need is:
- Currently studying in a Bachelor or Master’s program focusing on business administration, logistics / supply chain or (business-) engineering
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in German or English
- Strong analytical and computer skills including MS Office
- You are self-motivated, responsible and have a strong self-management
- Passion for Process development and hands-on mentality
- Enthusiasm to learn and drive to succeed
