Digital Workplace Engineer – Modern Workplace & AI
We are looking for a Digital Workplace engineer to strengthen our engineering capacity in the Digital Workplace team, with a background in Microsoft 365 technology while being open to explore emerging AI —especially Copilot—platforms. In this role, you will contribute to designing, implementing, and evolving our M365 solution offering to enhance productivity and user experience for Hilti employees worldwide. Additionally, you will support the evaluation and administration of AI solutions such as Claude and other platforms, helping establish governance, usability, and adoption while ensuring alignment with Hilti’s Lead2030@IT strategy. As part of a diverse and agile team, you will collaborate with the Product Owner and scrum team to explore new capabilities in enterprise AI platforms and realize the benefit of AI in Hilti.
What You'll do
As a Digital Workplace Engineer, you will
- Enhance and maintain the delivery of various Microsoft 365 solutions[KD1.1][1.2] to all Hilti employees
- Support adoption initiatives, including creating user guidance sharing best practices
- Support enablement, rollout, and optimization of M365 Copilot and other AI platforms across the organization
- Contribute to governance, security, and compliance considerations for enterprise AI usage
- Stay up-to-date with emerging AI and workplace technologies, providing recommendations for innovation and continuous improvement
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems / Technology, or related field
- At least three (3) years of experience in Digital Workplace / Modern Workplace / End User Computing
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, with exposure to Copilot or AI-driven productivity tools being an added advantage
- Experience with or interest in enterprise AI platforms (e.g., Claude or similar tools)
- Understanding of governance, security, and compliance in M365 and AI environments
- Ability to evaluate and determine viability of new technologies in a fast-evolving landscape
- Collaboration and communication skills across technical and business stakeholders
- Willingness to work in an agile, global environment
