As a Segment Manager, you'll lead strategic product development, inspire a dynamic team, and influence global product managers. This is your chance to drive innovation, collaborate across regions, and set new industry standards.
This is a full-time position. The travel requirements for this role is up to 20%.
What You'll do
As a Segment Manager, you will define and drive the long-term product innovation roadmap for your segment, identifying opportunities across product categories and aligning with the business unit strategy. You'll translate customer needs into hardware, software, and service solutions while staying ahead of industry trends and competitors. You'll manage the entire product lifecycle, from launch to phase-out, and lead strategic initiatives that drive sustainable value. Additionally, you'll serve as the key connection between sales regions and internal functions like Development, Engineering, Supply, and Quality. Finally, you'll build and guide your strong team of product managers to ensure business success and enable their personal and professional development.
To set you up for success, we will create an onboarding path that allows you to learn fast and get a comprehensive understanding of the matrix organization we are operating in.
What You’ll Bring
- A background in Engineering or Computer Science
- Willingness and flexibility to work internationally, with openness to international mobility
- Experience gained in a top-tier management consulting environment, or an MBA from a leading institution, or comparable leadership experience in a high-performing engineering or technical consultancy
- Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to define clear direction and translate strategy into action
- Experience leading or managing teams, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions
- Curiosity and drive to develop innovative, practical solutions that improve the construction industry, with strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
