What You'll do
Set and deliver the Central Europe transport strategy, balancing outstanding customer service with cost efficiency
Lead national and international activities across parcel, express, less-than-truckload (LTL), long-length freight and special transports
Own the regional budget, forecasts and performance steering through clear service, quality and cost KPIs
Shape the carrier landscape through tenders, partner selection and commercial negotiations
Build trusted partnerships across markets, functions and external providers to deliver regional projects and seamless execution
Lead, coach and inspire your team, creating a collaborative culture of accountability, learning and continuous improvement
Representing Transport Management in international forums and driving Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the organization
What You’ll Bring
A university degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
Several years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics or supply chain management
Strong expertise in transport markets, carrier management and strategic network design and optimization
Commercial and analytical strength, with experience managing budgets, KPIs and performance
Excellent organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Confident communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills across organizational levels
Written and spoken fluency in German and English
