Account Manager - Façade

Your next role as an Account Manager within the Hilti Industry team will see you having direct customer contact with the existing customer base and also a proactive role in identifying new customers. This role will focus on the VIC Façade industry with a goal of making our customers more productive, safe and sustainable. You will be responsible for growing sales by developing customers, introducing new products and services, and implementing sales strategies with our Façade customers in VIC.

What You'll do

The purpose of this role is to create value within an assigned customer portfolio by developing and implementing account strategies that foster long-term, sustainable, and profitable customer relationships.
In this role, you will spend much of your time in the field, meeting with customers to identify opportunities, understand their business needs, and build strong partnerships that drive mutual success. You will be responsible for managing your territory effectively, planning and prioritising daily activities, including visits to customer offices and job sites, to maximise customer engagement and sales performance.
As a Hilti brand ambassador, you will leverage your technical knowledge to provide consultative solutions, deliver high-quality customer interactions, and represent the company's value proposition in the marketplace. You will also use Salesforce to record customer interactions, track opportunities, monitor progress, and maintain accurate reporting, ensuring effective management of your sales pipeline and overall territory performance.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing sales role, such as Account Manager, Sales Representative, or similar
  • Experience within the Construction and/or Façade industry (advantageous)
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Architecture (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated solution-selling capability and customer-centric approach
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform (desirable)
  • Valid Australian driver's licence
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own sales call cycle
  • Strong discipline and organisational skills, with the ability to manage accounts remotely and build lasting customer relationships
  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong planning, territory management, and account management capabilities
