IT Business Analyst SAP & Subscription Billing

We are FIQ (Subscription & Development Platform IT), the team within Hilti Global IT that builds and maintains Hilti's global cloud platforms and subscription services. Our solutions integrate deeply with SAP for order-to-cash, subscription billing, and license management processes, serving millions of users across Hilti's digital ecosystem.

Working in an international and agile environment, we collaborate closely with business stakeholders, SAP experts, architects, and development teams to drive digital transformation and continuous improvement across Hilti's subscription and integration landscape.

What You'll do

As an IT Business Analyst – SAP, you act as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, using SAP expertise to analyze business processes, identify impacts, and support successful delivery.

You work closely with Product Owners, SAP Consultants, Developers, Solution Architects, and business representatives to ensure business requirements are delivered efficiently using Agile ways of working. You develop a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, SAP capabilities, integrations, and technical dependencies to drive business value and successful solution adoption.

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

  • Support subscription lifecycle processes (order entry, billing, contract management) in SAP.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders.
  • Analyze current business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Create process flows, business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support the design of SAP solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Ensure requirements are clear, testable, and aligned with business priorities.

Agile Product Delivery
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Agile development teams.
  • Manage and refine epics, features, user stories, and backlog items.
  • Participate in Scrum and Kanban ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support prioritization of requirements based on business value and strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to release planning and deployment activities.
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the main point of contact for business stakeholders throughout the requirements lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
  • Manage requirement changes and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Present solution concepts, impacts, and recommendations to various audiences.
  • Build strong relationships with business partners and delivery teams.

Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Define acceptance criteria and support test planning activities.
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Validate delivered functionality against business requirements.
  • Support defect analysis and resolution processes.
  • Ensure solutions meet quality and business expectations before release.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Identify opportunities to improve SAP-supported business processes.
  • Drive standardization, automation, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Support digital transformation and SAP innovation initiatives.

You don't need to cover every point from day one. What matters most is your growth mindset, analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to work across SAP and modern cloud systems.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Solid experience (5+ years) as an IT Business Analyst in SAP environments.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO.
  • Familiarity with data migration and SAP implementation projects.
  • Strong skills in requirements engineering, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience analyzing and improving end-to-end business processes.
  • Knowledge of SAP business processes and SAP application landscapes.
  • Experience working with SAP integrations and interconnected enterprise systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
  • Ownership mindset with a focus on delivering business value.
Nice-to-have
  • Familiarity with ABAP debugging or SAP transaction analysis (SE37, SM37, ST22, AL11).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Understanding of API-based integrations and middleware solutions.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and IT service management processes.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based SAP solutions and transformation programs.
