Microsoft Power Platform Engineer

As a Power Platform Engineer, you will be part of Hilti’s AI, Analytics & Automation ecosystem, enabling business teams to build and run low-code solutions in a secure, scalable and governed way. The role focuses on engineering and platform enablement across Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, connectors, environments, deployment pipelines and solution lifecycle management.
You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Solution Owners, Solution Architects, low-code developers, external partners and business stakeholders to ensure that solutions are technically sound, compliant with platform governance, and ready for sustainable operation. The role combines hands-on engineering, platform governance, technical consulting, troubleshooting and enablement.
What You'll do
- Ensure solutions follow internal governance, security, data protection, architecture and compliance requirements.
- Support Architecture & Security Review involving leading systems, new connectors or higher complexity integration patterns.
- Troubleshoot incidents, performance issues, flow failures, connector problems and user access issues.
- Monitor live solutions, identify improvement opportunities and ensure business continuity, maintainability and operational stability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Power Platform operating model, including governance, enablement, documentation and adoption.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems / Technology, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience working with Microsoft technologies, including 2 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform with understanding of Microsoft Dataverse as a plus point.
- Experience working with Power Platform & Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel and Entra ID.
- Understanding of Power Platform environments, solutions, publishers, deployment pipelines and ALM principles.
- Basic knowledge of security, data protection, access management and least-privilege design.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to business users and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment with business, IT and external delivery partners.
- Fluent English communication skills.
