What's the role?
As a member of Hilti Taiwan’s logistics team, you will be responsible for executing daily operational tasks related to product availability and inventory management. This role requires close monitoring of inventory assortment, stock levels, and replenishment to ensure optimal product availability to meet service level targets while minimizing operational costs. You will collaborate with regional teams and multiple stakeholders to ensure local warehouses are sufficiently stocked and make recommendations when changes in business activities affect inventory levels.

What does the role involve?
Inventory Monitoring & Replenishment:
- Track inventory assortment, stock levels, and replenishment plans to support business needs while maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Ensure optimization of stock and service level at all locations in Taiwan in line with company objectives
- Manage van stock to fully optimize company’s assets
- Generate accurate and timely inventory reports to provide transparency and support decision-making. Provide actionable recommendations based on changes in demand or supply patterns.
- Conduct root cause analysis for materials shortage or overstock and implement corrective actions
- Generate and present KPIs for material planning performance
- Work closely with Marketing team, Sales team and regional teams to ensure alignment on product demand and supply and warehouse stock availability.
- Support new product introductions and engineering changes from material planning perspective
- Drive marketing efforts to reduce obsolescence
- Continuously review and improve material management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Operate and maintain inventory management systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data input.

What you need is:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in material management, inventory control, or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
- Self-motivated with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English
