What’s the Role?
We are on the search for a stellar candidate who will engineer and design applications (up to medium complexity ) - based on Hilti modular support systems (BU INS portfolio) while working off Hilti’s proprietary software suite (i“PROFIS Installation).The successful team member will provide a basic engineering of anchor or direct fastening solutions and bill of materials to other Hilti functions (e.g. supply chain) - for further processing. You will collaborate and work within a team comprising of a senior engineer and team leader.

What does the role involve?
You will be responsible for the engineering of low to medium complexity applications as a support engineer, based on Hilti modular support systems (BU INS portfolio) using Hilti proprietary software (PROFIS Installation suite) - specializing in steel design. Derive bill of materials from design work and provide it to other Hilti departments (e.g. supply chain).
Design of modular support solutions in AutoCAD (2D/3D) (potentially also in Revit or plant design software) Your basic engineering of anchor or direct fastening solutions using either the Hilti proprietary software suite “PROFIS” or the technical fastening manual – is key , as you will compile engineering reports (calculation notes) for designed applications. Collaborating on project execution with different Hilti departments , such as sales, global logistics or finance within own market organization or across countries is an integral part of your role .
Ensure the adherence to relevant codes and Hilti standards in project engineering while adhering to all procedural and compliance pertaining to defined applications. Your knowledge of other structural design codes is key i.e Eurocode .You will be responsible for basic value engineering (combining technical – commercial –logistics aspects) for defined applications
