Warehouse Coordinator

What's the role?

The role of Coordinator II is responsible for being the focal point for communication (phone or email) with internal customers, repair billing, credit status, and all data entry activities within the repair process. This position monitors and coordinates the paperwork flow within the tool service operation to support the efficiency of the tool services team. Maintains inventory of Service Center supplies, office appearance, and focuses on safety. Plays a key role in project launches as well as conducts systems training for the Tool Services Center (TSC) team, as needed.

What does the role involve?

• Monitor and coordinates the bulk repair process to ensure the appropriate VIP customer service is delivered
• Communicate regularly with Customer Tool Service to resolve complaints and exceptions to the repair process
• Takes initiative to identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the TSC operation and repair process
• Participate and drive Aftermarket Services (AMS) project launches within the TSC operation
• Enter repair orders, update and correct pre-entered orders, and maintain repair history files
• Determine warranty and customer chargeable status on received tools
• Confirm account credit status prior to repairs being performed
• Handle proof of delivery requests
• Inventory, forecast, and track service center supplies
• Perform data entry for inventory replenishment orders, notices to transfer, and material requests
• Communicates with Spare Parts Warehouse to resolve discrepancies with inventory replenishments
• Assist in computer training for other service center employees
• Interface and work with the AMS process expert on customer and process issues
• Monitor daily/weekly cycle counts for completion per the Internal Control Systems (ICS) policy and practice
• Additional duties, as assigned

What you need is:

  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years’ proven warehouse experience, required.
  • Reach truck experience preferred.
  • PC literate; proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good math skills.
  • Power equipment skills (forklift, pallet jack).
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain self- responsibility.
  • Ability to stay committed, maintain integrity, and practice innovation.
