​​Head of IT Delivery HQ & Regional Demand Management​

What's the role?

​​​​​​We are seeking an experienced IT leader to head IT Delivery at our Group Headquarters while driving Regional Demand Management across Hilti’s major hubs. This dual role combines operational excellence with strategic influence: ensuring reliable, user-centric IT services for headquarters, while shaping and prioritizing regional IT demand.

You will act as a bridge between business and technology, engaging with senior stakeholders, steering committees, and diverse user groups to align IT solutions with Hilti’s long-term goals. It’s a hands-on leadership role that demands vision, collaboration, and the ability to turn complex requirements into impactful outcomes.​​​

What does the role involve?

As Head of IT Delivery at Group Headquarters, you will be responsible for ensuring reliable and high-quality IT services that directly impact the daily work of our end users. You will lead and develop a diverse team of internal staff, contractors, and service providers, focusing on both operational excellence and the overall user experience. Beyond running day-to-day services, you will drive continuous improvement, manage IT projects at both local and global levels, and act as the go-to partner for headquarters stakeholders on all IT-related topics.

In addition to IT Delivery, you will serve as the Head of Regional Demand Management, coaching and guiding demand managers located across Hilti’s global hubs. This responsibility positions you as the single point of contact for regional IT demands worldwide. You will analyze the needs of diverse user groups, monitor IT market trends, and assess service performance to prioritize demands in collaboration with decision-making bodies. Once aligned, you will translate these demands into concrete initiatives, handing them over to engineering and delivery teams to bring them to life.

This role requires close collaboration with senior business leaders and steering committees, ensuring IT strategies remain aligned with Hilti’s business objectives. By balancing operational delivery with strategic foresight, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how IT supports Hilti’s growth, digital transformation, and innovation journey globally

What you need is:

  • University degree (B.Sc. or higher) in IT, Engineering, or related fields, with greater than 5
    years of proven global IT leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to foster strong working relationships with contractors and service providers, ensuring they consistently meet or exceed their SLAs.
  • Deep knowledge of IT client infrastructure, emerging technologies, and the capability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written and spoken), with a collaborative leadership style.
  • Flexibility and readiness to travel internationally when required.
