Marketing Manager

What's the role?

This GB Marketing Manager position is a new and pivotal role within Digital Marketing. The main objective for the role is to support all marketing activities for small customers, focusing on developing and executing campaigns for small customers across the Hilti website, our Internal Sales teams as well as our Store network to drive sales through leads, new customer demand and acquisition, engagement and intensity.

In this role you’ll serve as a key point of contact with the Internal Sales Leadership Team, collaborating closely with the regional and global teams to develop and implement key initiatives that drive impactful results.

What does the role involve?

In this role you will; drive data-led lead generation efforts to our Internal Sales and retail teams; optimize marketing funnels; track and analyze campaign performance using relevant metrics and adjust strategies as needed to ensure optimal results.

You’ll develop and implement customer retention strategies to foster long-term relationships with small business customers, monitoring customer satisfaction levels and implementing initiatives to enhance customer experience and advocacy.

You’ll become a go-to expert in small business audience needs, pain points and buying behaviour by using internal and external data sources including industry data, market conditions and competitive landscape, to identify growth, reach and engagement opportunities and refine marketing strategies. 

You’ll be responsible for the steering and measuring of main KPIs of different initiatives and campaigns, gathering insights and best practice from inside and outside of Hilti to regularly evaluate and improve performance.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll need to be happy to roll your sleeves up and get in front of the camera demonstrating and discussing our products, applications and value proposition for small customers. You’ll need to create multi-channel and multi-format (video, written, image) innovative content to deliver wow experiences to both internal audiences and external customers

In this role, strong internal coordination and collaboration will also be required with cross functional teams. You’ll also facilitate employee enablement education and training regarding relevant new product launches.

Our Regional Head Office is based at Circle Square in Central Manchester, where we are located a short walk from Oxford Rd train station and St Peter's Square tram stop. We offer a hybrid working pattern between the office and home and different ways to work flexibly so please feel free to talk about what flexibility means to you at your interview.

What you need is:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably with a focus on small business customer acquisition and retention
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities; ability to create digital content / videos
Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving measurable business outcomes
