Logistics Intern

Kick‑start your supply chain career by gaining hands‑on exposure to end‑to‑end regional logistics operations, working cross‑functionally to improve service, efficiency, and performance

As a Logistics Intern, you will support the Distribution Manager in all Supply Chain Execution activities across the Regional Distribution Centre. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external logistics partners, contribute to process improvements, and help enhance service quality for our customers. This role combines hands-on operational exposure with analytics, data visualization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll do

  • Support daily Import/Export, warehousing, and domestic/regional transport activities.
  • Coordinate with logistics service providers to ensure on-time shipment movements and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage inbound, outbound, inventory control, reverse logistics, and local/regional deliveries.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, and Materials Management to improve service delivery.
  • Apply Lean tools and global standards to identify root causes and drive productivity improvements.
  • Build dashboards and data visualizations using Excel and Power BI to support decision-making.
  • Assist in performance reviews with logistics service providers and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Support cost management activities including invoice checks, audits, and operational controls.
  • Interpret and communicate logistics KPIs and performance reports.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical mindset with strong numerical aptitude.
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and comfortable working under strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Highly motivated with a customer-focused and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in both office and operational environments.
  • Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken).
