What's the Role?
We are looking for a passionate full-stack or backend software engineer to be part of our team to develop and maintain cloud microservices which will be consumed by our internal applications, website, and external SaaS solutions to enable our employees in targeting the right customers and seal a deal successfully.

What does the role involve?
As a Full Stack / Backend developer, you will be assuming the role of a technical expert for solution design and development. You will partner with project managers, business stakeholders and product owners to understand their requirements and translate into technical implementation. You will work closely with solution architects and business analyst to code the requirements and plan for testing. As you will have touch base with the cross-team engineers and developers, an excellent communication skill, collaborative skills, problem solving and creating quality products is essential. Your job also involves bugs identification, fixing and ensuring the quality and reliability of the solutions prior to deployment to production. The role will require you to implement and support Global IT solutions by using emerging techniques / technologies including user centricity, responsive design, and cloud/on premise solutions. You will need to evaluate IT solutions and alternatives for economic and operational feasibility.

What you need is
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or other relevant education.
- 2+ years of experience as Software Engineer, in an enterprise context.
- Courage to take calculated risks, to explore new solutions and promote innovation
- Know how to design, plan, and implement end-to-end solutions. Awareness of the full Cloud SDLC tech stack, from coding to deployment, including infrastructure as code
- Knowledge in cloud microservices development and event driven architecture patterns, as well as Spring Boot, Play or other microservices frameworks
- Proficiency with Java 8 and 11, OOP, AOP, Databases (both RDBMS and NoSQL), containerization (Docker, Docker Compose, K8s), Unit, Integration, E2E testing
- Love for DDD, Test Driven Development, code quality and security
- Experience working in SCRUM or other Agile implementations
- A strong personality with focus on achieving results
