This energizing position offers you the opportunity to lead your own projects at the interface between battery research and battery development. You will explore and evaluate novel approaches and technologies to further improve our batteries, their functionality and drive innovation. Based on your experience and network in battery technology you will help to shape our future and contribute to drive our roadmap.

This role enables you to be part of our overall success in the field of high-performance batteries for Power Tool Applications and offers you the unique opportunity to engage in all stages of battery technology according to your interest and strengths. Thanks to your strong cell understanding you will be able to consult and support our development department in battery technology.

What you need is:
- Completed degree (Diploma/Master) in engineering (electrical, mechanical etc.) or in a similar discipline
- Industrial experience in the field of battery technology and/or a PhD/Doctorate in the field of battery
- Comprehensive understanding in state-of-the-art lithium-ion cell/battery technology and its use in electrical systems
- Experience in cell or battery testing and data analysis with MATLAB
- First experience in modeling (ECM), operating strategies and/or battery management systems is an advantage
- Enthusiasm for creative, interdisciplinary teamwork and independent work
- Curiosity, ambition and a high degree of goal orientation
