What's the role?
You will join our international team in Corporate Research & Technology to evaluate and develop innovative solutions using IoT platforms in the area of Connectivity, Asset tracking and Health and Safety. You will have the possibility to familiarize with the latest available novel technologies (e.g. smartwatches, smartphones, IoT devices, nano satellites) where you can experiment innovative algorithms along with developing your ideas from scratch.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for at least 6 months

What does the role involve?
As intern in our department, you will be part of a development team researching innovative IoT technologies and algorithms for job sites connectivity, Asset tracking and Health and Safety applications. You will work closely with our experts to develop and validate novel solutions using emerging IoT, communication, localization technologies (e.g., nano satellites, BLE, UWB, GNSS).
You will contribute to improve future digitalization, and automation of the construction sector.
Your key responsibilities will be to search stat-of-art IoT communication technologies (e.g., Low Earth Orbit based on nano satellites), mapping and testing them as solutions to solve IoT connectivity challenges in construction sites. You will test and apply them in real applications and support our team in evaluating the most promising solutions.

What you need is:
- Enrollment in Master's program in Telecommunication, Electronic Engineering, Physics, or similar discipline for the whole internship period
- Experience in one or more of the following fields: wireless connectivity, meshes, IoT, Embedded platforms, Wearables, Sensors, Machine Learning, Clouds, Navigation.
- Good knowledge of one or more of the following program languages/frameworks: Python, C, C++.
- Strong communication skills, with good English and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach and self-reliant personality.
