Intern - Global Materials Management (m/f/x)

What's the role?

Drive Continuous Improvement Projects and support in daily operational business of the Materials Management Team.

Start date preferable in March 2025, however certain flexible exists due to the student's availability. Duration for at least 6 months but preferable 12 months.

What does the role involve?

As intern in our department, you’ll be part of the global BU Materials Management team, responsible to drive Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) and support the Materials Management team in operations.

You’ll work closely with our experts to be successful in our project(s) and learn how to manage daily task to ensure global availability and inventory management.

You will be part of a highly diverse team, representing 15 different nationalities and a wide range of professional backgrounds.

What you need is:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Industrial Engineering, Business or similar
  • Analytical skills and high proficiency with associated tools (MS Office, incl. Excel, PowerPivot, PowerBI)
  • High motivation to implement out-of-the box ideas
  • Strong communication skills, fluent English and interpersonal skills
  • Open and positive mindset, courage and sharp thinking as well as determination
  • Experience with SAP ERP, BW is an advantage
