HR Business Partner

WHAT'S THE ROLE?

Our HR Business Partner as an integral part of the HR team in nurturing an effective working relationship, influencing and even challenging the senior management team in the development and delivery of their people plans in driving our sustainable and profitable growth through our robust people strategy for respective business unit(s). This role will directly report to Head of HR, Korea.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

The purpose of the role is to partner with line management to provide general Human Resources (HR) related consultation, support, service, and guidance to Hilti employees and management groups. Key areas of responsibility include line management support/coaching, employee development, strategic recruiting, legal compliance, people development/succession planning and organizational development in support of Hilti’s business objectives, strategic initiatives and organizational priorities. The role involves managing and implementing local HR projects as well as assisting in Global HR initiatives.
Scope: Advises on HR policy and assists with implementation of HR procedures & processes in close partnership with the management of a business unit or department. Focus is operational, typically reports to Head of MO HR or higher-level HRBP (this role is not part of HR or MO management team). Supports a single entity (MO, Org. Unit, Plant, etc.) size Small / Medium.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

  • Collaborate closely with respective business leader(s) in supporting the design, development and deployment of by understanding deeply about the business and partner internally with other HR team in talent acquisition, talent management, compensation & benefits in delivering HR initiatives in line with our overall people strategy.
  • Build strong partnership with the business leader and global stakeholders in developing their team members, providing advice, guidance and ad-hoc training in catering for full spectrum of HR process.
  • Work with the business leader(s) to establish and introduce systems that identify employees with high potential, develop career paths in consideration of key roles for succession planning and self-development.
  • Capable in challenging the status quo and act as a change agent in response to dynamic business environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment & international mobility.
  • Lead full cycle of employee engagement activities using annual global survey report.
  • Ensure compliance with all local labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices while aligning with the global HR framework.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline.
  • +10 years of experience in HR general with preferred 3 years as HRBP, working in global matrix environment.
  • Proven success in driving HR topics including employee engagement, employee relations, talent management and talent acquisition.
  • Strategic mind-set with ability to partner with key stakeholders in the business while leading business stakeholders from an operational perspective.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence and interact across all levels of management and highly proficient in managing change and cascade the message to all levels.
  • Proven experience working in a complex, commercial organization and/or consulting role that requires detail orientation, sound judgment and strong analytical skills.
  • Highly proficiency in data analysis using Workday
  • Excellent communication skill – Korean & English
