What's the role?
We are looking for an AI Consultant to join Hilti’s AI Accelerator. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of exploring and implementing cutting-edge AI technologies. You’ll test and evaluate new Large Language Models (LLMs), assess AI capabilities of internal and external tools, and develop impactful AI use cases—either independently or with cross-functional teams. You’ll also act as a trusted advisor, recommending better ways of working and ensuring AI solutions align with business objectives.
What You'll do
The role involves exploring and implementing cutting-edge AI technologies, testing and evaluating new Large Language Models (LLMs), and developing impactful AI use cases. You’ll assess the capabilities of internal and external tools, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and act as a trusted advisor to ensure AI solutions align with business objectives.
Key tasks include:
- Exploring and evaluating emerging AI technologies and generative AI tools
- Testing and benchmarking AI capabilities of internal tools and platforms
- Developing and prototyping AI use cases independently or with core team and other cross-functional teams
- Advising on AI best practices and efficient ways of working
- Supporting change management and adoption of AI solutions across global teams
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in AI/Machine Learning, data science, digital innovation, or consulting roles, ideally in a global organization.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools, APIs, and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Azure AI) and familiarity with prompt engineering.
- Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI, and their practical applications in business.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Creative, proactive, and comfortable asking questions or seeking clarity.
- Fluency in English (required for our international environment).
