Procurement Manager

What's the role?

This role directly reports to the China CFO to boost cost - to - serve efficiency. It involves procuring materials, equipment and services, making and executing procurement plans. Also, it includes exploring and maintaining supplier resources, negotiating for favorable terms and controlling costs. The role collaborates with internal departments, monitors purchase orders, handles procurement issues, and analyzes the market to offer strategic suggestions and enhance procurement competitiveness.

What does the role involve?

• Report directly to the China CFO to drive cost-to-serve efficiency.
• Be responsible for the procurement of various materials, equipment and services of the company, formulate and execute procurement plans to ensure the efficiency and compliance of the procurement process.
• Explore and maintain high - quality supplier resources, establish long - term and stable cooperative relationships, obtain favorable procurement terms through negotiations, and effectively control procurement costs.
• Collaborate closely with various internal departments, understand their needs, and respond promptly to meet the material and service requirements for the company's operations.
• Monitor the execution of purchase orders, follow up on the delivery of goods to ensure on - time, high - quality and full - quantity arrival, and promptly handle problems and risks in the procurement process.
• Analyze the dynamics and trends of the procurement market, provide valuable procurement strategy suggestions for the company, and enhance the company's competitiveness in the procurement field.

What you need is:

• A bachelor's degree or above, with a preference for majors related to procurement, logistics, business administration, etc.
• More than 3 years of procurement management experience, with a preference for those with a business and trade industry background.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and be able to strive for the most favorable procurement conditions in a complex business environment.
• Be familiar with the procurement process and relevant laws and regulations and have a good sense of cost control and risk management ability.
• Be proficient in English, able to communicate and negotiate fluently in business English, and handle English - language procurement documents.
• Have good team management, communication and coordination skills, be proactive at work, and have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work under pressure.
