Tool Service Team Leader

What's the role?

As a Repair Team Leader at Hilti, you are responsible for managing a team of technicians who are tasked with repairing Hilti tools, ensuring that they are able to provide a high quality, fast and efficient service to our customers.

What does the role involve?

The role involves establishment of a culture that improves and implements ideas, standard behaviours and changes in the Tool Service Centre (TSC). The job holder needs to recruit team members and constantly engage the team to drive performance.

What you need is:

  • Previous supervisory experience and exposure to training others is ideal
  • Precise solution oriented character with strong sense of achievement and willingness to drive change proactively
  • Enjoys problem solving/investigation of system discrepancies/anomalies
  • People oriented with ability to influence team members with different needs to gain their commitment and support to resolve customer problems
  • Experience in process excellence and system specifications within Hilti (SAP R3, SAP AMS, SAP Equipment), MS-Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook)
  • Understanding / ability to learn new management processes (Quality / Costs / Efficiency / Audit team members / training of team members)

Once you're in the formal process, there are three stages – a first interview with a Regional Manager, a day-in-the-life 'field ride' to give you a real feel for the job and a final interview with a Sales Director. We'll also pay your expenses if you have to travel to meet us.
