What's the role?

The Hilti IT Fellowship program was developed jointly by the Hilti Corporation and the University of Liechtenstein. It is a combination of practical training at Hilti and academic learning at the University of Liechtenstein, designed to enrich your education and boost your professional career.

Global IT within Hilti is a truly global team with main hubs in Buchs (Switzerland), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Plano/Tulsa (USA). All locations have highly competent teams who work very closely together. Hilti`s Global IT team is known for their focus on sustainable value creation by translating latest IT innovations into value creating solutions & services.

What does the role involve?

The Hilti fellowship contributes to your Master’s education in Information Systems or related fields as you attend relevant courses at the University of Liechtenstein. In parallel to your part-time studies, you will join an international project team in Hilti’s Global IT department and work on cutting-edge IT topics in the construction industry. Our fellows are exposed to the unique corporate culture of Hilti and enjoy a lifetime opportunity to work side by side with distinguished experts in the field and to contribute to Hilti’s digital ambitions.

We have interns exploring all the different aspects of working at Hilti HQ where student talents enjoy the opportunity of a lifetime by working alongside experts in the field and contributing to Hilti’s next innovation.

What you need is:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields with outstanding academic records
  • Proven IT affinity and first practical experience in IT
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • High proactivity, motivation, and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Fluent in English (verbally and written)
