Junior Accountant - Purchase to Pay

What's the role?

Responsible for the timely completion of the tasks detailed below and actively supports the P2P Manager to ensure high quality services are offered to the entities serviced by the Shared Service Center.

What You'll do

<span style=" display:block;"><span style=" display:block;">As at P2P Accountant, you will be responsible for </span>
<span style=" display:block;">Process / Service level management </span><span style=" display:block;">- Perform compliant Purchase to Pay processes, using consistent and correct financial bookings in the area of Invoice Processing and Vendor Account Management </span><span style=" display:block;">- Review &amp; maintain vendor related balance sheet accounts and prepare accurate accruals for vendor invoices </span><span style=" display:block;">- Be a sparring partner for the entity contacts by linking business decisions to Purchase to Pay processes and by delivering and improving agreed Purchase to Pay services to the entities in scope </span><span style=" display:block;">- Identify and drive P2P process and service level improvements using continuous improvement (CIP) tools and best suited technologies </span>
<span style=" display:block;">Entrepreneurship </span><span style=" display:block;">- Consistently challenge the status quo, act as change agent in the P2P Hub </span><span style=" display:block;">- Recognize and exploit P2P process related opportunities within the P2P Hub </span>
<span style=" display:block;">Compliance &amp; Risk </span><span style=" display:block;">- Ensure compliance with group &amp; indirect tax (VAT) requirements &amp; deadlines </span><span style=" display:block;">- Operate Purchase to Pay related ICS (Internal Control System) controls and ensure consistent filing of specified documentation for audit purposes </span><span style=" display:block;">- Provide input to requests from internal &amp; external auditors for the Purchase to Pay function&nbsp;</span></span>

  • Financial literacy

  • English written &amp; verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in MS office suite
  • Experience in any invoice processing tool
