What's the role?
The of Plant Design Developer is responsible for various Plant Design software related tasks, including 3D software content development, quality check and technical support. This position is a key contributor to global Energy and Industry software team in supporting successful development of Hilti’s Plant Design solutions. This position partners with the global network of Plant Design Experts and regional project management teams, deliver world-class software packages and customer experience to fuel growth of large project business.

What does the role involve?
- Develop project special part 3D catalog, custom assemblies, or small adaptation of existing software content or plug-in’s for Hilti’s Plant Design software portfolio (Smart 3D, Everything 3D, Plant 3D, etc.)
- Check quality of software packages according to product specification.
- Assist in creation of training video, technical documentation.
- Assist Plant Design Expert (PDE) to prepare project specific catalog library loads.
- Trouble shoot project specific implementation issues coordinated through PDE.

What you need is:
Basic Qualification
• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Engineering
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience as administrator, champion user and/or automation specialist, in Plant Design software platforms such as Intergraph Smart 3D, AVEVA’s E3D or PDMS.
• Strong team orientation with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, required
• Strong technical and computer skills with ability to quickly learn new software programs.
• Ability to operate effectively and independently in a dynamic environment
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of large construction project workflow.
Understanding of digital transformation in construction industry (EPCM) is preferred.
Programming skills in C#, Python, or VB.
API programming or catalog development experience on AVEVA or Intergraph platforms.
Knowledge in Piping, Electrical, or HVAC system design using 3D modeling software.
