What's the role?

At our largest Business Unit “Power Tools & Accessories”, you will play an essential role in the preparation of our global material group strategies and you will be part of our key strategic procurement projects globally. In this role, you will be working alongside experienced strategic procurement managers. As such, you will also have substantial visibility to senior management team and the opportunity to position yourself for a full-time career at Hilti.

What does the role involve?

As an intern in our department, you will be part of Hilti’s plastic procurement team in Strass (near Neu-Ulm) that executes strategic sourcing programs with direct link to the Business Unit strategy. You will work closely with our experts to develop diverse Material Group strategies with global impact. In addition, you will be also supporting our team with operational excellence activities e.g. asking for quotations, preparing awarding proposals and involving cross functional stakeholders.

We are a highly motivated team with global procurement responsibility of Plastics located at our plastic technology plant in Strass (near Neu-Ulm). We support each other and have an exceptionally great team spirit.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor student in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or similar
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a sense for pragmatic solutions
  • A strategic approach and good problem-solving skills
  • Excel and Power Point knowledge, other tools are a plus
  • Well structured, reliable working method and great ability to work in our team
